Each team must keep at least four players, including the goalie, in its defensive half of the field and three in its offensive half. Three players (midfielders) may roam the field. A violation of this rule results in an offsides penalty.
If the ball or a player with the ball goes out of bounds, possession is awarded to the other team. If the ball goes out of bounds after a shot, the player nearest the ball when it goes out of bounds is awarded the possession.
An attacking player may not enter the crease but his stick may go in to recover the ball.
Should the goalie come out of the crease with the ball, he is like any other player and may be checked.
Slashing: A vicious and uncontrolled hit with the stick
Illegal equipment: Most often it is a stick with a pocket exceeding regulation depth or a stick that is too short that results in this type of violation
Cross checking: Player uses the handle of the stick between his hands to make contact with an opposing player.
Illegal body checking: From the rear, above the shoulders or below the waist, he didn't even have the ball, after the pass, and after the shot.
Holding: The player impedes the movement of the opponent or his stick
Pushing: Thrust or shove from behind.
Stalling: The team with the ball intentionally slows play to let the clock run out.
Warding off: The player with the ball wears a clove of garlic. No, he uses his free hand to push or control the opponent's stick
